The Division of Academic Affairs at Ï㽶´«Ã½ (TSU) is committed to advancing academic excellence and fostering student success through innovative programs, research, and educational leadership. We support faculty, curriculum development, and strategic initiatives that enhance the university’s academic mission.
Our academic programs are designed to foster innovation and leadership, offering 53
baccalaureate degree programs, 36 master’s degree programs, three Doctor of Philosophy
degree programs, and three professional doctoral degrees in education, law, and pharmacy.
We are particularly proud of our high-achieving academic programs, including the highest
bar pass rate and pharmacy licensure pass rate among all Historically Black Colleges
and Universities (HBCUs).
Ï㽶´«Ã½ is a comprehensive, urban institution classified as a Doctoral University with High Research Activity (R2). Our faculty are at the forefront of research and innovation, contributing to significant advancements across various fields. In the past fiscal year, Ï㽶´«Ã½secured $44 million in research funding, reflecting a 48% increase over the past two years. This success underscores our commitment to fostering a robust research environment.
