Add Self-Service Password Reset Options
When resetting your password, you'll need to confirm your identity with the Microsoft

up alternative options in case you can't access the app. Follow the steps below to
add additional password reset options.
- Open the web browser on your device and go to the page.
- Select your preferred verification method.
- Phone: Choose to get a phone call to your registered phone number. For more information about setting up phone calls, see .
- Email address: Choose to use an alternate email address that can be used without requiring your forgotten or missing password. This only works for password reset, not as a security verification method. For more information about setting up an email address, see .
- Security questions:Choose to set up and answer pre-defined security questions set up by your administrator. This only works for password reset, not as a security verification method. For more information about security questions, see.
