Unlock Your Future with the TMCF SOAR Scholar Program at TSU

Ï㽶´«Ã½â€™s TMCF SOAR Scholar Program offers high-achieving high school juniors (rising seniors) a FREE, one-week residential experience in June. Participants will explore HBCU institutions, college admissions, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities, while also discovering career pathways and academic programs.

The 2025 TMCF SOAR Program Application is open and available .   

• • Program Dates: June 8 - 13, 2025
  • Eligibility: Current high school juniors (Class of 2026) with a Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Eligible students must participate in the program during the summer before their senior year. 

• • To Apply, Applicants Must Submit the Following with the Online Application:

• • • Academic information, including official high school transcript, ACT/SAT scores (if taken)
    • Evidence of school involvement (clubs, organizations and activities)
    • (1) recommendation letter from a teacher or counselor
    • (2) short essay questions:
      • What do you hope to learns and/or accomplish as a participant in the program?
      • What is motivating you to pursue education at a collegiate level?

Priority Deadline – April 15, 2025    Final Deadline – May 1, 2025  

Applications received after the priority deadline will be considered based on program availability.
